Quick update before going to bed: I etched some more the vases. Five of them I already put out and cleaned the varnish, and the other two need a bit more etching, I think, that I will do tomorrow.
No pics since it is too dark now, I will take them tomorrow.

I have put the pices in this sort of "floating devices" made with straw and tape. I hope they hold. Now I am trying an already used ferric chloride I had in a bottle, which I dunno if will work at all. I have set several of them on top of eachother on a plastic bottle bottom (two of them, the ones I didn't put, don't fit in this container).
